You know me and ornate picture frames...
I kind of have a thing for them.
These charming little frames were definitely
talking to me when I found them at the thrift store...
the beading, charming moulded details
& perfect vintagey cream color.
I wasn't loving the pictures framed inside
but I already knew just what they would become when I saw them.
So for $2.99 each they were coming home with me.
A little clean up and chalkboard paint later...
I'm Loving them.
Perfect for initials above a bed,
for a menu or sign and for leaning on a shelf
with a favorite saying or message
So cute for
a little 'Boo' at Halloween too!

*Some of you asked about painting chalkboard paint on the glass.
I have tried that and it does work as long as you use enough paint
and don't wipe off/repaint too often.
Or you can just cut out a little piece of smooth hardboard for
the chalkboard surface with a jigsaw*
