CHRISTMAS CLOCHE & FUDGY BON BONS

A verse from my absolute favorite
    Christmas carol...
    O Holy Night ...
is written on the vintage chalkboard in the dining area.

I am a traditional Christmas music kind of girl- I love the classics -
and usually do not like the new versions of songs these days.. but...
have you heard this incredible song sung by Il Divo?
Just amazing... It actually chokes me up when I hear it.

So it is the perfect choice for my dining room chalkboard
and for the backdrop for my cloche pictures.
I wanted to join Miss Marty for her
Christmas Cloche party over at A Stroll Thru Life...
Here are a couple of the cloche's I have here and there...

    A sweet little nativity...
This was a thrift store find one day a couple of months ago-
I came across a little baggie filled with this charming little vintagey looking Nativity set.
It shows its age and is not in perfect condition,
but I loved it anyway and so brought it home.
It sits perfectly on my cake display stand...
and looks so special under the glass.

A charming wee little birds nest with teeny tiny ornaments...

for now it looks so delightful under glass,
but will go back into the vintage birdcage that graces a spot by the tree
    along with this cloche...

This large nest sits under a wire cloche and holds a shiny purple glass ball.

Of course, I had to put in a couple of Christmas treats as well.

With my sweet treats under the cloche above,
I am joining my sweet friend Vanessa
She is hosting her first Annual Cookie Exchange blog party~
I decided to join with a recipe that we have been making every year for the holidays
for probably about 10 years now.
    WARNING!!!
It is hard to eat just one!!! These cookies are delicious!
They are best when they are a little warm yet...
as the Hershey kisses melt in your mouth!
I use the Hersheys Hugs candies-
they are little tiny kisses wrapped in white chocolate...
