A little glimpse of my bedroom...
starting to show some Christmas cheer!
A seashell edged white quilt covers the bed-
it is one of the most beautiful white quilts I have found-
and with touches of bold red needlepoint and faded florals-
love it.
White bedding against the dark wood of the bed is a favorite
Sometimes, I have this look too in winter...
I have a very thick and warm red comforter that I use on my bed when it gets cold.
I do love it. I love the red. I love the floral.
I don't know which I love the best!

The draperies are draped with cedar branch and white berry garlands
& an old antique settee covered in a bold red and cream check,
holds a few silver wrapped presents.

I found the chippy yellow desk which serves as one of the nightstands
at a thrift store several years ago...
It wears it's original chippy crusty painted finish and has darling dainty glass knobs and so much charm-
I loved it instantly when I found it.
On the other side of the bed,
an antique painted dresser serves as a nightstand.
I love the details on this one
old original moulding on the center drawer
and flower drop accents at the sides.
]I placed the glittery NOEL letters on the shelf
and put a large wreath
underneath it.
Just a few touches of Christmas in the bedroom...
I'll share a few more pictures soon!
I wanted to say thank you so much to all of you who have left such
kind and thoughtful comments and sent emails about my post about my grandmother.
Your words really touched me and I appreciate all of them.
