My Summer mantel vignette was inspired by
those gorgeous peonies that came home with me from the
market the other day.
They made me think of old romance.
Faded Shabby colors and vintage cottage charm.
The sweet little ornaments were a recent thrift find and
I added them in for a bit of Christmas in Summer fun.
I love their old mottled luminescent colors.
and they are a near perfect match to the peonies.
The mantel will be changing again in just a few days
as the peonies are starting to drop their leaves
and are drying out already.
But sure enjoying their sweet look and scent for now!
